Additional Details

The Indian River Campground offers 5 large, wooded, private sites in quiet surroundings. This campground is excellent for the traveler because of its close proximity to M-94, and yet it is still able to retain a secluded, quiet atmosphere. Drinking water is available, as well as toilets.

The picnic area, which is located in a wooded area at the south end of the campground, has accessible tables and grills.

Brook and brown trout are found in this section of the Indian River. The elusive trout may be easier to catch, depending on the season of the year, weather conditions, and the time of day.

Convenience stores, gasoline, and restaurants are located in Shingleton, Munising, and Manistique.

Indian River Campground is a fee area. Golden Age and Golden Access Passports are accepted.
