Ironwood		Population: 6,293

	Ironwood is strategically located along the way to the great outdoor wilds found in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Once a mining town, Ironwood has a small population of around 16,000 and is close to two big ski resorts and the Ottawa National Forest. Superior Falls is another nearby natural attraction—a 40 foot fall on the fast moving Montreal River. The Ottawa National Forest has over 400 lakes, 27 campgrounds, two mountain ranges and several rivers.
