Description

Soldier Lake Campground is easily accessible from M-28, and yet is a quiet relaxing site that is well away from any noise of the highway. It gives the camper a feeling of remoteness and is still close enough to roads leading to some of the best sight-seeing in the Upper Peninsula. Soldier Lake Campground is approximately 30 miles west of Sault Ste. Marie. The entrance is off FR-3138. Stop and see the historical monument that overlooks the tiny Monument Lake.
